About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst, Treasury Settlements to join our team at MUFG Bank, Ltd. As a key member of our Treasury Department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth processing and settlement of Treasury transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Input Treasury-related transactions into internal/external systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Sort and distribute maturing corporate deals to dealers for instructions, confirming transactions and following up on outstanding items.
  • Check dealing evidence and SWIFT confirmations (MT320 / MT399), authorizing STP deals, booking transfers, and trades in the external matching/settling system.
  • Release STP payment orders for Corporate and Interbank Money Market transactions, preparing and dispatching 11 AM Notices and Term Deposit Confirmations to corporate customers.
  • Prepare SWIFT messages via BESS and monitor confirmation matching in TRAM, ensuring timely and accurate payment/settlement of Treasury products.
  • Reconcile funds received to settle all settlements, investigating unallocated and/or non-received funds.
Requirements
  • Experience in a similar or related role within Money Treasury Operations, with a basic understanding of loans, payments, and related financial concepts.
  • Knowledge of Austraclear and/or Swift is highly advantageous, but not essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve issues.
