About The Creative Store

The Creative Store is a well-established creative agency with expertise in custom exhibition and display stands. We work with various clients and partner agencies to provide spectacular activations and installations all around the country.

We are on the lookout for a skilled CAD/CAM Design & Drafter to play a pivotal role in our creative construction team, contributing to the conceptualisation and design of activation builds while ensuring exceptional service and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret client and internal design briefs, translating them into build design concepts that align with client objectives and Agency build practices
  • Develop technical drawings, material & finishes boards, to communicate construction build concepts effectively
  • Work closely with the Production Manager to ensure seamless execution of all builds
  • Set up assembly drawings and floor plans for installation
  • Conduct post-event evaluations and debriefs to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement, contributing to the continuous enhancement of our activation experiences

Requirements:

  • Degree level qualification in drafting or equivalent
  • 3 + years of design experience
  • Skilled in using design software 2D and 3D (AutoCad and Sketchup preferably)
  • CNC programming with AlphaCAM an advantage
  • Adobe Creative Suite (photoshop and illustrator)
  • Google G Suite user experience
  • A strong portfolio showcasing relevant project experience
  • A passion for product development and design
  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Have the ability to learn quickly and show a willingness to be hands on
  • Good understanding of manufacturing and woodworking principles
  • An eye for detail, quality control, and cost efficiency
  • Well organised and proficient in time management
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to enable development of good working relationships with the team and clients
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as work autonomously with minimal supervision
