Job Opportunity: Senior Accountant - Fulltime

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a fulltime Senior Accountant. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to manage a portfolio of clients, mentor junior staff, and work closely with business owners to provide compliance and advisory services.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, Chartered or Certified Public Accountant qualification, and demonstrated experience working in a public practice with exposure to SME clients. Strong technical knowledge of Australian taxation and excellent client-relationship skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review financial statements, income tax returns, and BAS/IAS for a diverse client base.

  • Support clients with business structuring, cash flow forecasting, tax planning, CGT, Division 7A, and succession planning.

  • Build strong relationships by becoming embedded in clients' businesses and understanding their unique needs.

  • Supervise, guide, and review the work of junior team members.

  • Keep up to date with tax legislation and compliance developments.
