Salary:

We offer a competitive salary package of between $120,000-$130,000 per year, with options for vehicle and fuel allowances included.

About the Role:

This is a permanent position direct with the company, offering a range of benefits and opportunities for advancement and professional development within our growing company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and supervise construction activities ensuring commercial projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Oversee and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and construction workers to maintain quality standards and adherence to project specifications
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to address issues and ensure project milestones are met
  • Contribute hands-on work (as required) to minor repairs and maintenance
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or similar role in the construction industry
  • Trade/builders background with strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and relevant building codes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and motivate a diverse team
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, solve problems, and make sound decisions under pressure
  • Ability for some but rare travel around the region (90% of works will be based in Mackay)
