Project Manager - New Facility Installations

We are seeking experienced professionals to join our team in Western Australia as Project Managers for new facility installations, shutdown maintenance, or ongoing production in the mining sector.

About the Role:

  • Our ideal candidate will be responsible for managing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring quality, cost, and schedule requirements are met.
  • The successful applicant will collaborate with suppliers, professionals, and trades to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • As a Project Manager, you will provide project management and technical leadership to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Initiation
  • Develop project plans, including scope statements, work breakdown structures, and resource allocation plans.
Project Execution
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects according to project plans.
Monitoring and Control
  • Monitor and control project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
Project Closure
  • Closure of all aspects of the project, including documentation and handover.

Requirements:

  • A minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of postgraduate experience in the Australian mining sector, preferably in a technical or project management role.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with senior leaders and shop floor personnel.
  • PMP certification is highly regarded.
  • Full Australian working rights are essential.
