Field Operations Coordinator\

The Field Operations Coordinator plays a key role in the delivery of correctional services across the state. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing field-based programs, including the development and maintenance of infrastructure, weed control, construction, and other tasks that contribute to the implementation of works across the region.

  • Coordinate and oversee the planning, execution, and quality control of field-based programs.
  • Develop and maintain built infrastructure, including roads, buildings, and other facilities.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including staff, management, and external partners, to achieve shared objectives and goals.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They will also have a keen understanding of the importance of maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Required qualifications include a Certificate III in Correctional Practice, Senior First Aid Certificate, and the ability to obtain accreditation in the safe operation of 4WD vehicles over difficult terrain and chainsaw equipment.

This is a temporary vacancy for up to 12 months, with a full-time commitment of 76 hours per fortnight. The successful applicant will be appointed at either classification depending on their qualifications and experience held.
