About the Role
  • Lead a team of experienced tug operators in one of Australia's busiest ports.
  • Command the tug and deliver exceptional results every day.
  • Maintain compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Support crew development and escalate issues when necessary.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Take charge of the tug and lead a capable, safety-focused crew.
  2. E nsure the vessel is operationally ready - from equipment maintenance to daily checks.
  3. Maintain adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
  4. Support crew growth and address any concerns that arise.

Requirements
  • A minimum Master certification.
  • Proven experience as a tug operator.
  • Strong leadership and technical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
