Role Summary

We are currently seeking committed and enthusiastic Domestic Cleaners. The ability to foster meaningful relationships is essential, along with being trustworthy, helpful, and reliable, making you a valuable member of our organization.

These positions are casual, with the potential for part-time opportunities for suitable candidates.

Are you a dependable individual who takes pride in maintaining a clean and orderly environment? Right at Home Central Queensland is looking for skilled Home Cleaners to support our mission. We provide comprehensive home care services, enabling seniors and individuals with disabilities to uphold their independence and improve their quality of life. As a Home Cleaner, you will ensure that our clients' homes are clean, organized, and welcoming.

Responsibilities Include:

Conduct general cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and disinfecting various surfaces within clients' homes.
Sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, bedrooms, and other spaces as needed.
Ensure all cleaning duties are performed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Organize and manage cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any maintenance or supply needs to the supervisor.
Adhere to established protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
Communicate effectively with clients and their families, providing outstanding customer service and addressing any specific cleaning preferences or concerns.
Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of clients and their homes.

Requirements

Prior experience in residential or commercial cleaning is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Demonstrated reliability, integrity, and a strong work ethic.
Compassionate and respectful attitude towards clients, including individuals with disabilities and seniors.
Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions in English.

Qualifications

Essential Criteria:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to learn, develop, and embrace new challenges
  • Current National Police Check
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificates
  • Blue Card / Yellow Card
  • Current unrestricted driver's license
  • Own vehicle and comprehensive car insurance

No specific qualification requirements, but prior experience as a cleaner is essential.
