Data Analyst Role

As a Health and Safety Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in developing, configuring, implementing, and maintaining health and safety management systems.
You will oversee the day-to-day management, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues relating to H&S systems, review and maintain system security frameworks, and gather requirements for system configuration and testing.
Collaborating closely with end users, site teams, H&S professionals, IT, and other stakeholders, you will provide tools, guidance, and processes for stakeholders to update and maintain H&S data.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the day-to-day management, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues relating to H&S systems
- Reviewing and maintaining system security frameworks
- Gathering requirements for system configuration and testing
- Designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and analytical reports using Power BI
- Collating, interrogating, analyzing, and interpreting H&S data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- A tertiary qualification in Health & Safety, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field
- Proven experience administering and configuring Health and Safety management systems
- Demonstrated competence in Power BI (or similar business intelligence platforms) for data modeling, dashboard creation, and report automation
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly and effectively to non-technical audiences
