About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform minor property repairs, including tasks such as changing light bulbs and door hinges.
  • Maintain an adequate inventory of supplies to ensure efficient maintenance operations.
  • Ensure the upkeep of gardens and entranceways, creating a welcoming environment for residents and staff.
  • Work closely with the Facilities Manager to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure seamless operations.
  • Inspect grounds, facilities, and equipment regularly to identify areas for improvement.
  • Delegate tasks to staff as needed and plan, schedule, and coordinate general maintenance and major repairs.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in hands-on maintenance, with a strong background in property repairs and maintenance.
  • Qualifications in a trade or trade-related field are beneficial but not essential.
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in software relevant to maintenance operations.
  • A patient and empathetic demeanor when interacting with residents.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with staff and management.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
