As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting clients with daily living and providing support services in their own homes.

About the Role
  • Promote client autonomy, positive routines, and meaningful activities.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including set time blocks/pattern rostering.
  • Ability to drive vehicles for client/company use.
  • Proactive in supporting clients to enhance their life choices at home and in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report changes in client health, care plans, or additional services required.
  • Stay updated on policies, procedures, and activities through regular communication reviews via email and other methods.
  • Take reasonable care of your own health and safety, as well as others within the workplace.
  • Protect client rights and confidentiality by ensuring dignified and private care.
Requirements
  • Hold a minimum Certificate III in Individualised Support, Home & Community Services, Aged Care, or equivalent qualification.
  • Hold a current full driver's license.
  • Maintain a current Level 2 First Aid Certificate and CPR.
  • Have access to a reliable motor vehicle with valid registration and comprehensive insurance.
  • Possess a smart mobile phone or device.
  • Be willing to obtain NDIS Clearance and Police Clearance within six months.
  • Access to the internet and experience using computers, systems, and applications.
