Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Finance Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing transactional functions including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, as well as the day-to-day administration of banking functions.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage AP and AR functions and perform bank administration and month end related tasks.
  • Management of AP function
    • Support the offshore AP team.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships and communication with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
    • Liaise with external suppliers and where required, with internal stakeholders, regarding supplier invoice queries.
  • Management of AR function
    • Manage and review AR tasks, including receipting and report.
    • Oversee and manage the invoice finance facility.
  • Bank and month end related tasks
    • Daily bank reconciliations and cash balance reporting.
    • Manage unreconciled bank items with AP and AR.
  • Management of other banking facilities, including equipment financing.
  • Assist with payroll reconciliations and employee related questions.
  • Other tasks as required to support the wider finance team.
Requirements:

To be successful, you will have:

  • More than 2 years' experience across bank administration, accounts payable and/or receivable functions
  • Previous finance systems experience (Workday is preferred)
  • Flexible and willingness to learn new skills and gain new experience
  • Ability to analyse problems and initiate/work towards solutions
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
