Job Title: EHS Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) professional to ensure our operations meet the highest standards of safety performance across all divisions. This role will be responsible for implementing and maintaining compliance with relevant legislative requirements, including ISO 45001 and Workcover.

  • Promote and support EHS in workplace activities, operations, communications, policies, procedures, or standards as necessary.
  • Develop and implement an effective EHS management system that aligns with international best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and develop corrective actions plans.
  • Design and deliver training programs to ensure employees are well-versed in EHS requirements and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and enhance overall plant and safety performance.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a manufacturing/operations leadership role.
  • Possess exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong customer focus and ability to present on topics related to safety, wellbeing, environment, and OHS guidelines.
  • Able to create and maintain compliance within owned manufacturing plants and contract manufacturers.
  • Demonstrated ability to write reports, policies, and procedures.
  • Hold a qualification in Environmental Health and Safety or a related field.
  • Experience working with lean/engineering methodologies is an asset.
