Nyrstar Hobart is a leading producer of critical minerals and metals, essential for a low carbon future. Our operations are located in Hobart, Tasmania, and we employ approximately 4,000 people globally.
We are seeking a motivated project manager to drive the governance and successful delivery of key project outcomes across the region.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple IT projects of critical strategic importance to the business, adhering to the Nyrstar Project Management Methodology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining thorough project management plans to ensure successful project delivery.
- Managing end-to-end delivery of the project to approved scope, schedule, cost, and quality targets.
- Tracking projects and providing regular reports on project status to key stakeholders.
- Working with business stakeholders and the global IT team to develop the roadmap and forward plan of projects, resourcing requirements and budgets.
Requirements:
- Delivering large scale IT projects.
- Successfully managing multiple concurrent IT projects.
- Systems Delivery Lifecycle methodologies and proven experience in the configuration, testing and deployment of applications and system integrations.
- Exceptional communication, engagement and influencing skills.
- Time and meeting management.
- Project management tools, such as MS Project or Service Now, to an advanced capability level.
