About this role

Support Defence and gain experience across a range of technologies while building a career with purpose.

This is an early-career opportunity to work in the IT sector, supporting desktop, infrastructure, and services across multiple technology streams. You will respond to and resolve incidents within agreed service level agreements (SLAs) and maintain customer physical infrastructure.

We are seeking an IT professional with minimum 7 months to 1+ year experience supporting End User Devices at level 1+. You should have level 1 and 2 technical knowledge of hardware and peripherals, as well as current or re-instatable AGSVA Security Baseline / NV1 Clearance.

You will also need a basic understanding of Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, SCCM, and End-Point Imaging, as well as demonstrated entry-level knowledge of basic IT infrastructure and network equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Support desktop, infrastructure, and services across multiple technology streams
  • Respond to and resolve incidents within agreed SLAs
  • Maintain customer physical infrastructure
  • Manage customer expectations and update them on case progress
  • Escalate operational issues promptly
  • Record and submit Timesheets and project efforts accurately
  • Complete required training on time

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 months to 1+ year experience supporting End User Devices at level 1+
  • Level 1 and 2 technical knowledge of hardware and peripherals
