We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Advisor to join our team at AUTOrecruit. Key Responsibilities- Technical Expertise: Provide expert advice to customers on technical issues related to vehicle diagnostics, mechanical and electrical systems.
- Mentorship and Training: Mentor, train, and provide workshop support to staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively.
- Repair Orders: Produce repair orders and ensure that all necessary documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.
- Technical Training: Attend technical training sessions when required to stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with all staff in the department, reporting to the Service Manager, and liaise with the workshop to ensure time constraints are met.
- Vehicle Diagnostics: Diagnose vehicle mechanical and electrical systems, and assist workshop technicians with technical issues.
- Customer Service: Handle customer complaints and provide excellent customer service, ensuring that customers are satisfied with the service they receive.
- Parts Ordering: Order parts and ensure that they are delivered to the workshop in a timely manner.
- Work Environment: Promote a safe work environment and ensure that all necessary safety protocols are followed.
- Warranty Requirements: Meet warranty requirements and ensure that all necessary documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.
- Trade Qualification: Hold a trade qualification in Automotive Technology.
- Dealership Experience: Have strong dealership experience and a proven track record of providing excellent customer service.
- Communication Skills: Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be able to communicate complex technical information to customers and staff.
- Computer Literacy: Be computer literate and able to use industry-standard software and systems.
- Multi-Tasking: Have a strong ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Vehicle Diagnostics: Have a high level of skill in vehicle diagnostics, both mechanical and electrical systems.
