Vehicle Operations Specialist Job Description

This role involves overseeing the lifecycle of vehicles from ordering and delivery to their return through auctioning. You will be responsible for managing vehicle availability, monitoring fleet security, tracking, and upkeep, as well as maintaining accurate records of vehicle locations, usage, and documentation.

To excel in this position, you should have experience in fleet management and customer service, with strong problem-solving and organizational skills. Ability to navigate competing priorities under tight deadlines is also essential. A solid understanding of business operations supported by a tertiary qualification in a business-related discipline is desirable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is also required.

  • Manage loan car availability for customers.
  • Monitor fleet security, vehicle tracking, and upkeep.
  • Oversee the entire vehicle lifecycle from ordering and delivery to auctioning returned vehicles.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle locations, usage, and associated documentation.
  • Support the Vehicle Operations Team with administrative and operational tasks.

  • Experience in fleet management and customer service.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to navigate competing priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Solid understanding of business operations, supported by a tertiary qualification in a business-related discipline.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
