The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing IT Technology Operations and Service Desk Support services across the organisation's Service Desk and Desktop Support function. This includes managing a team of direct reports, supporting a combination of project work and BAU activities, as well as continuous improvement of existing systems and processes.

To excel in this role, we seek a candidate with experience leading and motivating teams using a 'lead from the front' approach. Strong IT support experience across Microsoft technology stacks and cloud infrastructure is essential, as is the ability to provide high levels of customer service and stakeholder engagement for system-related support activities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading the team and taking ownership of issues escalated to 3rd line support, dealing with external vendors.
  • Guiding and mentoring a small team of experienced IT Support & Service Desk Analysts.
  • Collaborating with the Corporate IT team, working directly with end-users and business stakeholders, including C-Level Executives & Directors, to support new processes and technologies services.
  • Integrating new applications and systems into the cloud infrastructure environment, focusing on continuous improvement and assisting with implementation activities.
  • Maintaining up-to-date documentation and procedures.
  • Patching systems as required to adhere to policy and architectural standards.
  • Participating in project meetings with management and senior executives.
  • Coordinating with 3rd Party technology vendors for support requirements.
