Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Nursing Trainer to deliver high-quality education and training in our Training & Lab rooms. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering engaging training sessions, conducting assessments, and developing innovative learning activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver training as per our Training and Assessment Strategies
  • Provide all training services in compliance with funding requirements and policies
  • Participate in validation and moderation, and support students to course completion
  • Process assessments and feedback, ensuring appropriate communication with students, and supporting those with additional learning needs

Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education
  • Current registration as a registered nurse with AHPRA

Desirable Skills:

  • Previous experience delivering community services courses
  • Sound understanding of the VET system
  • Ability to communicate with and support a wide range of learners

Training Requirements:

  • Deliver training as per our Training and Assessment Strategies
  • Provide all training services in compliance with funding requirements and policies

Assessment Requirements:

  • Process assessments and feedback, ensuring appropriate communication with students, and supporting those with additional learning needs
  • Maintain accurate student records and contribute to continuous improvement of the Training Department and business
