We are seeking a skilled Claims Operations Specialist to join our team.

This role is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of insurance claims payments and receivables.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring seamless financial operations, collaborating with internal teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing payments for insurance claims, including repairers, assessors, third parties, and hire car companies
  • Coordinating with Claims Officers and Accounts Payable to ensure claims are closed accurately
  • Resolving outstanding payment matters and discrepancies efficiently
  • Processing and reconciling payments in SAP and the Zurich Legacy System
  • Reviewing and uploading weekly XML updates to maintain accurate financial records
  • Notifying business units of significant claim payment changes
  • Managing end-to-end Claim Receivables (AR) process within the Insurance Claims Management system and SAP, collaborating with the Insurance Claims Team, Claims Officers, AR and Master Data staff
Requirements:
  • Experience in accounts payable, claims processing, or insurance accounts
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar financial management systems
  • Ability to manage multiple payment transactions and resolve discrepancies
  • Understanding of insurance claims processes and payment cycles, including AR management
  • Experience with legacy systems such as Zurich (highly regarded)
  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (desirable)
