ROLE OVERVIEW

We are currently seeking experienced Registered Nurses with a background in vaccination and travel health to contribute to our mission at Sonic HealthPlus. This is a permanent full-time position that offers a dynamic work environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Registered Nurse, you will report to the Practice Manager and be responsible for a variety of essential functions, including:

  • Exercising advanced nursing skills and working independently
  • Conducting patient assessments and triage
  • Administering vaccinations and performing travel health consultations
  • Executing phlebotomy procedures
  • Managing inventory and maintaining stock levels
  • Ensuring the cleanliness and sterilization of medical equipment
  • Adhering to health protocols and guidelines
  • Carrying out general administrative tasks

CANDIDATE PROFILE

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Current First Aid/CPR Certification
  • Certificate in Phlebotomy (desirable)
  • Current Immunisation Certificate (desirable)
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience
