The Production Manager – Packing oversees the packaging operations within beverage and DFP production facilities, ensuring products are packaged efficiently, safely, and in line with quality and regulatory standards.
- Responsible for leading all aspects of the packaging function to achieve timely, high-quality, and cost-effective packaging of products.
- Develops and maintains packaging schedules aligned with production plans and customer requirements.
- Supervises, trains, and supports packaging staff to foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP, ISO).
- Manages financial costs and optimizes efficiency, yield, and waste reduction.
- Monitors equipment performance and coordinates maintenance to reduce downtime and improve reliability.
- Optimizes packaging material usage to minimize waste and control costs without compromising quality or safety.
- Evaluates and recommends new packaging equipment, technologies, or materials for process enhancement and sustainability goals.
