The ICON Agency is seeking a highly experienced Digital & Social Director to lead our digital marketing efforts. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a purpose-driven agency where people and culture are our focus.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the digital ecosystem's activities and processes, including social media and marketing campaigns. You will design and implement digital marketing strategies, analyse data traffic and user metrics, ensure the consistency of a brand's digital tone and presence, develop and execute digital marketing campaigns, monitor and interpret analytic data, and optimise the functionality of our software.

You will work closely with the team to develop and implement digital marketing strategies, leveraging your expertise in digital marketing and social media to drive results. A key aspect of this role is maintaining and growing both new and existing client relationships.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Developing social media strategies and tactical plans for Icon clients and the agency
  • Developing integrated social and digital programs for Icon clients
  • Leading and overseeing the strategy and plan for digital marketing and social media across the Agency
  • Advising on digital advertising and media planning
  • Optimising social media content and plans
  • Setting up and optimising Icon's social media analytics and reporting
  • Assisting with new business; leading new business pitches and proposals in respect of social media and influence marketing
  • Liaising with both internal and external teams to promote brand consistency
  • Educating and building capability in the ICON team with regard to social and digital platforms and channels
  • Staying abreast of the latest consumer and marketing trends and advancements in technology
