Medical Officer Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled medical professional to fill a Medical Officer role in our team. As a Medical Officer, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting the health and wellbeing of Defence personnel.

The successful candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient outcomes. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide primary medical care to Defence personnel, including assessing fitness for duty, providing critical medical advice, and ensuring access to top-tier care wherever they are stationed.

This is a permanent full-time opportunity that requires flexibility and a commitment to being available to backfill sick leave or planned leave on short notice. The successful candidate will be paid for each day worked and will accrue annual and sick leave.

To be eligible for this role, you must hold Australian citizenship, be registered with AHPRA as a General Practitioner, and have at least 2 years of GP experience in the last 5 years. You will also need to have recent CPD participation aligned with AHPRA requirements and current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification.
