**Procurement Specialist Role Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and evaluating potential suppliers, negotiating favourable terms and conditions for the procurement of goods and materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the import process, including liaising with freight forwarders, customs brokers and other relevant parties to ensure timely and compliant delivery of imported goods;
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, monitoring stock levels and placing orders to meet production and sales demands;
  • Analyse market trends and opportunities to identify new sourcing options and drive continuous improvement in the company's procurement practices;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align purchasing activities with overall business objectives;
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on procurement activities, costs and performance.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum 3 years' experience in a similar importing and sourcing role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport or logistics industries;
  • A strong understanding of international automotive trade regulations, customs procedures and import documentation requirements;
  • Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills, with the ability to build and maintain productive relationships;
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams;
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field is highly desirable.

**Language and Work Authorisation Requirements**

This role requires proficiency in Mandarin and work authorisation in Australia.

**Location and Schedule**

This is a full-time position working 8 hour shifts in Malaga WA 6090. Hybrid remote work arrangements are available.
