Field Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team in Mackay. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing Caterpillar mining equipment across the Bowen Basin.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity working on an even time roster. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of clients and develop your skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair Caterpillar mining equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards
  • Conduct site visits and perform routine maintenance tasks as required
  • Diagnose and repair faults on-site using diagnostic tools and techniques
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients
Requirements:
  • Relevant trade qualifications and demonstrated experience in servicing and repairing heavy machinery
  • Experience working on Caterpillar mining equipment and familiarization with their systems and technologies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
