Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our team in providing specialist social work interventions and short-term care coordination support.

This is a senior role that involves providing input to initiatives, building relationships with external stakeholders, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide supervision to other Social Workers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting discipline-specific assessments and collaborating with teams to support consumers and their families/carers.
  • Providing expert therapeutic interventions for complex psychosocial matters, including family violence, child protection, and sexual assault presentations.
  • Supporting collaboration within multidisciplinary teams to ensure consumer rights are balanced with service system needs.
  • Delivering a range of therapeutic interventions, including individual and group sessions, to support consumers with complex needs.

Job Requirements:

  • A qualification in Social Work or a related field.
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
