Senior Underwriter Innovator

We are seeking a seasoned motor underwriter with strong commercial acumen and a digital mindset to lead the underwriting of complex motor portfolios.
Key Responsibilities:- Underwrite and analyze renewal and new business opportunities within delegated authority levels.
- Collaborate with brokers and internal teams to deliver tailored property insurance solutions.
- Utilize data insights and digital tools to inform pricing, coverage decisions, and risk assessments.
- Partner across Claims, Distribution, and other underwriting lines to support multi-line opportunities.
- Contribute to underwriting innovation by sharing insights and supporting proposition development.
- 6+ years of insurance experience, including motor underwriting and sales.
- A business degree or equivalent, with ANZIIF CIP Senior Insurance Qualification.
- Proven success in driving digital transformation or innovation within underwriting.
- A strong understanding of underwriting systems, digital platforms, and data analytics.
- Skilled in risk assessment using both traditional and digital methodologies.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
