Radiology Trainee Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Radiology Trainee to join our team. As a Radiology Trainee, you will have the opportunity to learn and participate in all stages of radiological examinations including referral, triaging, supervision, performance, reporting, and communication of procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in radiological examinations under close supervision and guidance from experienced professionals.
  • Develop and demonstrate skills in performing general radiology diagnostic reporting duties relevant to your level of prior training and capability.
  • Contribute to quality and safety initiatives in Medical Imaging by providing expert assistance and support.
  • Assist in the clinical assessment, scheduling, and triage of patients undergoing or having had interventional procedures.
Requirements:
  • Hold an MBBS degree or equivalent and possess current general registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
  • Have at least three years' postgraduate experience in public hospital service (or equivalent).
  • Demonstrate a genuine interest in Radiology and provide evidence of preparation for RANZCR Radiology training.
  • Exhibit excellent written, verbal, and multimedia communication skills.
  • Be able to perform data analysis and interpretation relevant to medical imaging referrals and activities.
