About the Contract

This 4-week + contract offers competitive benefits, including an hourly rate of $40.92 - $54.56 per hour + Super (based on experience) + Contractor Bonus. You'll also receive provided accommodation at no cost, reimbursed or pre-arranged travel, and a 38-hour weekly roster with additional hours available at casual rates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert care to patients during and after surgical procedures, ensuring safe induction and recovery in the Anaesthetic Nursing role.
  • Deliver close observation and critical care to patients immediately post-surgery in the PACU Nursing role, managing pain, monitoring airways, and maintaining stability.
  • Act as a patient advocate, communicating effectively with surgical teams and ensuring patients' needs are met.
  • Be prepared to handle adverse events or complications with professionalism and expertise.
  • Educate patients and families about post-operative care and recovery plans.
What's Required
  • Current AHPRA Registration.
  • Minimum 2 years of Anaesthetic/PACU experience.
  • Full working rights in Australia (no visa sponsorship available).
  • ACLS Certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Proven ability to manage critical care patients' post-anesthesia.
  • NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to apply.
