Senior Payroll Specialist

As a key member of our team, the Senior Payroll Officer will be responsible for the day-to-day payroll function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of salary payments for all employees across Australia and New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities- Payroll Processing: Accurately process end-to-end fortnightly and monthly payrolls, including preparation, calculation, reporting, and maintenance of all payroll information.
- Ad-Hoc Payments: Prepare and process all ad-hoc and manual payments outside of standard pay runs, including expenses, commissions, bonuses, parental leave, and workers' compensation.
- Final Payments: Ensure final payments are processed accurately and timely in accordance with company policies and local regulations, including termination and redundancy calculations.
- Payroll Data: Assist the HR and Finance teams in providing payroll data, reports, and other information as required, including quarterly financial data and WGEA payroll data.
- Procedure Documentation: Assist the Payroll Manager in documenting key payroll-related procedures and conducting periodic reviews to ensure regulatory requirements are maintained.
- Audit Preparation: Prepare data and documentation for internal and external audits.
- Superannuation and Payroll Tax: Manage the administration, calculation, payment, and reconciliation of all superannuation contributions and payroll tax.
- Month-End and Year-End Processes: Complete month-end and year-end processes, including reconciliations and reporting.
