About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our team at Woolworths Group, contributing to the development of a world-class retail media analytics capability within our Cartology business. This role will work closely with senior team members to drive business growth through data-driven insights and recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the development of a retail media analytics framework, leveraging Woolworths data assets to provide actionable insights for Cartology clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities for analytics-driven innovation, delivering high-quality insights to inform business decisions.
- Design, implement, and interpret experiments to assess the performance of Cartology assets and identify improvement opportunities.
- Develop and maintain machine learning models to address client ad measurement needs, providing recommendations for advertising optimisations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hands-on data science work, including developing models and feature engineering.
- High-level proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in using SQL for analytics and data visualisation tools like Looker/Tableau.
- Demonstrable experience working with cloud platforms and associated native tools, including Google Cloud Platform.
