Transform Lives as a Support Specialist

Job Description:

As a Support Specialist, you will be part of our dynamic team dedicated to providing exceptional support services to individuals in need. Your role will involve working closely with customers to identify and address their goals and aspirations, with the aim of enhancing their overall wellbeing.

You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including support networks and community organizations, to provide comprehensive support services that cater to the diverse needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide person-centered support to help customers achieve their goals and improve their wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with support networks and community organizations to enhance customer independence.
  • Report to the Program Experience Lead and work collaboratively with the wider team.
  • Support and supervise employees at a lower level as needed, and communicate effectively with other teams.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will require relevant qualifications (Cert 3 or 4 in Disability Support or equivalent experience), technical literacy in Microsoft Office and reporting systems, supervisory skills, basic HR management knowledge, physical ability to support customers, and a valid NSW Driver's C class license.
