Job Overview

This leadership role is a critical component in the intersection of data architecture, engineering excellence, and business impact.

The successful candidate will lead a high-performing team of engineers focused on designing, building, and scaling foundational analytical data products that power decision-making across the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers in designing, building, and scaling foundational analytical data products to meet business requirements.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to define data strategies, improve data quality, and deliver reusable data models, pipelines, and platforms.
  • Mentor and develop engineers to ensure technical excellence, innovation, and quality.
  • Drive large-scale, high-performance data processing systems (batch and streaming) with a "Streaming First" mindset.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or related field.
  • 6-8+ years of experience as an individual contributor in a Data Engineering or related Software Engineering role.
  • 4+ years of experience managing data or related software teams.
  • Strong communication and cross-team relationship skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Python or another high-level language.
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Experience with Tableau or other reporting tools.
