Senior Data Architect

Infinite Consulting is seeking an experienced Senior Data Architect to join our team in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT).
This is a long-term contract opportunity with 12 months of initial term and 6 months option to extend, based on funding and approval.
About the RoleAs a Senior Data Architect, you will be responsible for undertaking project information governance, strategy, architecture, planning, risk management, stakeholder engagement activities, including management of security accreditation and acceptance into service processes.
- Establish and provide detailed guidance on a significant cloud-based data analytics platform.
- Support program or project control boards, project assurance teams, and quality review meetings.
- Define the approach and set standards for managing and monitoring the Analytics Platform.
- Develop project artefacts for delivering certain ICT capabilities inclusive of architecture standards.
- Evaluate the delivery of effective services in line with current and planned demand.
- Platform Setup and Guidance: Set up and provide detailed guidance on a significant cloud-based data analytics platform.
- Program Support: Support program or project control boards, project assurance teams, and quality review meetings.
- Analytics Standards: Define the approach and set standards for managing and monitoring the Analytics Platform.
- Project Artefacts: Develop project artefacts for delivering certain ICT capabilities inclusive of architecture standards.
- Service Evaluation: Evaluate the delivery of effective services in line with current and planned demand.
- ICT Infrastructure Experience: Experience in ICT infrastructure and ICT services, systems integration experience preferred.
- Complex Analytics Programs: Experience in the successful delivery of complex and large-scale analytics programs.
- Government Programs: Background in delivering large government programs, in particular design and delivery of large data warehouse programs.
- Competence in Delivery: Competence in the delivery of analytics artifacts using one of IBM Data Warehouse, Teradata, Oracle Data Warehouse, or Synapse.
The salary for this role is approximately $120,000 per annum, taking into account the location in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) and the level of experience required. The estimated cost of living in the ACT is higher compared to other parts of Australia, which may impact the final take-home pay.
