Desktop Support Engineer Role

Our organization is seeking a dedicated and skilled Desktop Support Engineer to provide high-quality technical assistance for our end-users in Brisbane.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure prompt and efficient desktop support to minimize downtime and disruptions, guaranteeing business continuity.
  • Conduct thorough system diagnostics and troubleshoot hardware/software issues, resolving problems promptly to maintain optimal system functionality.
  • Manage active directory operations, including user account maintenance, password resets, and permission updates, ensuring seamless access to organizational resources.
  • Perform hardware installations, replacements, and upgrades, maintaining up-to-date equipment that meets user needs and expectations.
  • Support network connectivity, ensuring stable and secure access for all devices linked within the organization's network infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other IT professionals to optimize processes and enhance the delivery of IT services.
  • Implement and support robust security measures, ensuring data protection and compliance with established IT policies and procedures.
  • Document all procedures and troubleshooting steps accurately for future reference and process improvement.
