As a key player in our educational team, the Assistant Centre Manager will be responsible for fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork and morale among educators.
  • Collaborate with centre management to develop and implement effective strategies, including resource allocation and budgeting.
  • Work closely with qualified staff to design and deliver high-quality educational programs that meet state and federal requirements.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by conducting tours for prospective parents and ensuring a welcoming environment for all families.
  • Support Room Leaders in daily centre operations, including reviewing programs, observations, and staff performance.
  • Ensure compliance with national regulations and contribute to the Centre Self Assessment process.
  • Lead, supervise, and support educators in delivering the educational program, building strong relationships with colleagues, children, and their families.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor of Teaching (0-5) or ACECQA approved qualification.
  • Current First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification equivalent to HLTAID004.
  • CHCPRT001 - Identify and respond to children and young people at risk.
  • A cleared Working With Children Check for NSW.
  • Sound knowledge of the EYLF, NQF & NQS.
  • Extensive curriculum and planning experience.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Ability to build respectful and professional working relationships with parents, families, and colleagues.
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills, with the ability to multitask and manage conflicting priorities.
