Physiotherapist Role

We are seeking a skilled physiotherapist to join our team at Manning Hospital.

This is a senior role that offers the opportunity to work independently while being part of a collaborative team environment. As a Physiotherapist Level 3, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality physiotherapy care to patients in the ICU department.

The ideal candidate will have well-developed critical care skills and proven experience in managing critically unwell patients. You will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team and liaise with other sites to ensure continuity of care.

In this role, you will have access to regular clinical supervision and opportunities for upskilling through John Hunter Hospital. You will also be supported by a Level 4 clinician who will guide you in your professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide high-quality physiotherapy care to patients in the ICU department.
  • To work independently and as part of a team to deliver safe and effective patient care.
  • To communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • To participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient care planning.
  • To maintain accurate records of patient treatment and progress.

Requirements:

  • A current Authority to Practice with AHPRA.
