Job Title: Senior Regulation Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Regulation Officer to join our team at VenuesWest. As a key member of our regulatory team, you will play a critical role in leading the Council's regulation and accreditation functions, including the registration of training providers, regulatory responses, investigations, accreditation of courses, and providing regulatory advice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Manager in leading the Council's regulation and accreditation functions
  • Coordinate the delivery of a risk-based approach to the case management of training providers and accredited course proponents
  • Review, develop, and implement regulatory policies, procedures, and templates to support the implementation of revised Standards for registered training organisations
  • Provide regulatory advice and support to stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of a dynamic regulatory environment

Requirements:

  • Experience in a regulatory and/or investigative environment, with a focus on risk-based and client-centred regulation
  • Highly developed communication skills and experience in delivering client-focused services
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
