Health, Safety, and Environmental Advisor
We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental Advisor to join our team.
About the RoleThis is a key position within our organization, responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and environmental aspects of our projects are managed in accordance with legislative requirements and industry best practices.
Responsibilities- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and implement controls to mitigate risks;
- Develop and maintain comprehensive risk management plans and procedures;
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure that all activities are conducted in a safe and environmentally responsible manner;
- Provide training and guidance to employees on health, safety, and environmental procedures and protocols;
- Monitor and report on health, safety, and environmental performance metrics;
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes as needed;
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field;
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry;
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Able to work effectively in a team environment;
This role offers a competitive salary package, including:
- A base salary of $170,000 per annum;
