Job Title:

A Senior Risk Management Specialist to Lead Complex Assessments

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering comprehensive human health and ecological risk assessments for contaminated sites
  • Developing Conceptual Site Models (CSMs) and exposure assessments
  • Interpreting toxicological, site, and exposure data to inform health/ecological risks
  • Reviewing or preparing site-specific risk-based criteria
  • Providing strategic guidance on site management strategies to clients, auditors, and regulators
  • Supporting business development and proposal writing
  • Mentoring and training emerging risk assessors within the team
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Toxicology, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in risk assessment roles (consulting or regulatory)
  • Strong technical knowledge of NEPM, CRC CARE, and relevant state-based frameworks
  • Experience working on complex industrial or contaminated land sites
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and clients
  • A genuine interest in mentoring others and contributing to team success
