About the Operations Role

The company is looking for an experienced professional to take on the challenge of managing overall supply chain operations.

This key role will be responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of labour, productivity, quality control and safety measures established and set for each department. They will also enhance operational procedures, systems and principles in areas such as information flow and management, business processes, enhanced management reporting and continuous improvement opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage overall supply chain operations to achieve maximum efficiency
  • Oversee labour, productivity, quality control and safety measures to ensure compliance
  • Enhance operational procedures, systems and principles to improve performance
  • Develop and implement effective business processes to drive growth

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in operations management or related field
  • Strong leadership and strategic planning skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Broad experience in conflict management and business negotiation processes
  • High level of competency in managing people
  • Understanding of quality standards (such as ISO) and Work Health Safety
  • Driver's License
  • Up to date crime check
  • Working knowledge of business software, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
