Warehouse Operations Manager

 

Job Description:

As a Warehouse Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse. You will lead a team of warehouse staff and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations
- Respond to enquiries regarding daily operations, providing excellent customer service
- Analyse and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement
- Coordinate and report on all receipts, dispatches, and inventory counts
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to address escalated matters and ensure adherence to guidelines
- Conduct audits and maintain compliance with quality standards and regulations
- Supervise warehouse staff, ensuring a clean and organised work area
- Collaborate with Account Managers and Administration personnel for accurate billing and reporting
- Execute and handle healthcare/pharma shipments in accordance with organisational guidelines and GDP principles
 

Requirements:

- Strong customer service skills with a focus on providing exceptional service
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and warehouse systems (WMS)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment and supervision roles
