As an experienced Industrial Designer, you have the chance to lead a team in designing sophisticated equipment and technology with a rapidly developing tech leader. This company has a strong foundation in industrial design with various market-leading products performing well internationally.
About the RoleThis Senior Industrial Designer position involves taking ownership of new product designs from conception to production. You will work closely with a multi-disciplined team environment to achieve product goals.
- Develop innovative designs that meet customer needs.
- Present design concepts using modelling, rendering and prototyping skills.
- Specialise in photorealistic product rendering.
- Improve and maintain current products based on feedback.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and manage project outcomes.
- Develop bill of materials, assembly documentation and packaging solutions.
Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or a relevant engineering discipline. A minimum of 5 years' experience in industrial design is necessary, with a preference for Defence, Medical, Aerospace or Consumer Electronics industries. Team leadership experience is also essential.
