About the Role

The Social Media & Marketing Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the online and offline business initiatives of our highly successful Portmans brand. Reporting to the Marketing Manager – Portmans, you will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies to engage with our customers and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement social media content calendars to drive customer engagement and interaction
  • Monitor and moderate social media communities to ensure a professional and unique brand voice
  • Provide regular performance reports on social media activity to inform marketing strategies
  • Assist in the development of email marketing campaigns to align with the marketing calendar
  • Execute social media activities, including posting, tweeting, sharing, and engaging with customers
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in digital marketing and social media, with a background in the retail industry an advantage
  • Tertiary education in a marketing-related field
  • Experience in social media community management, content creation, and performance reporting
  • Proficiency in image and video editing software, such as Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Experience in social media advertising and email marketing
