Transportation Operations Manager

About the role:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Operations Manager to join our team at Aurizon.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining our world-class Train Control systems, ensuring safe and efficient train operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and monitoring train operating performance
  • Responding to unplanned events within the network
  • Undertaking an in-house training program for approximately 6 months

Aurizon provides a combination of classroom and on-the-job training with experienced Network Controllers, Network Coordinators, and Superintendents.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and possess problem-solving skills.

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.

This is a permanent full-time position based in Rockhampton, Queensland.
