Financial Control Manager

This is a senior finance role within the bank's financial control team responsible for ensuring timely, efficient and accurate reporting to executive management.

The role will primarily focus on monthly and annual financial accounting for the group and subsidiaries combined with day-to-day activities of the finance function.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide oversight and mentoring to group financial accountants
  • To assist senior financial accountants and group finance managers in ensuring the bank meets its management and statutory reporting deadlines
  • To support the group financial control manager in consolidation and standardisation of financial control activities to drive efficiency and enhanced controls

This is a 12 month max term contract.

Requirements
  • Cpa / CA / ICAA qualified (or international equivalent)
  • Multiple years experience as a manager in an accounting ideally within a financial control function
  • Proven technical accounting skills and implementation of new accounting standards
  • Proven people leadership skills
