Clinical Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Calvary Care. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in providing effective clinical management of the Anaesthetic Preoperative Clinic Service.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver high-quality patient care in consultation with the multidisciplinary team.
- Ensure timely, complete, and accurate documentation of nursing care and patient progress.
- Perform comprehensive and accurate nursing assessments of patients.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with the Theatre Nurse Manager, Director of Anaesthesia, and Bookings department coordinator to coordinate patient care and procedure dates.
- Registered Nurse authorized to practice by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Relevant post-registration qualifications and at least three years' experience working in the Perioperative clinical environment.
- Excellent communication, leadership, administrative, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and in a multidisciplinary team environment during periods of high demand and activity.
- Strong organizational skills and the capacity to successfully manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
