Early Childhood Educator Role

We are seeking skilled professionals to fill the position of Early Childhood Educator, with opportunities for full-time and part-time employment.

In this role, you will prioritize child safety and well-being, creating inclusive and responsive learning environments that cater to diverse needs.

To succeed in this position, you must possess:

  • A Diploma or Certificate III in Children's Services (or equivalent)
  • Experience working in an early childhood service
  • Familiarity with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
  • Knowledge of Child Protection legislation and its implications for childcare and protection
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A current CPR qualification, including asthma and anaphylaxis training
  • A genuine interest in the Reggio Emilia approach
  • A valid Working with Children's Check
  • Completion of CHCPRT001 Identify and respond to children and young people at risk (or willingness to complete)
  • A HLTAID012 First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing documentation and daily records
  • Developing educational programs tailored to individual needs
  • Building strong relationships with children, educators, and families
  • Creating a safe and well-planned indoor and outdoor learning environment
  • Implementing knowledge of programming, including the National Education and Care Services Regulations 2012, NQS & NQF
  • Experience developing and implementing programs in an early learning center

You will work collaboratively with others to provide a learning environment that is safe, welcoming, and challenging for all children and their families.
