Job Description:

Panthers Foundation aims to be a source of pride for the community, fostering strong relationships with its members and encouraging participation.

This is an opportunity to lead on and administer key areas, delivering high-impact programs and initiatives. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, including writing, proofreading, and speaking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead program delivery within education, community, and participation pillars.
  • Support club activities integrated into local community events.
  • Manage department expenses in line with budget or adjust according to revenue.
  • Coordinate player appearances across business and supervise community-based appearances.
  • Administer and report on all programs within the Foundation Pillars.
  • Work closely with the Head of Foundation & Community on new program development, business plans, and implementation.
  • Manage the Community Inbox and community storage spaces within the Rugby League Academy and BlueBet Stadium.
  • Oversee all aspects of Community Volunteering, including recruitment, management, training, and deployment of volunteers.

Events & Fundraising Campaigns:

  • Coordinate planning and operational matters for Foundation & Community events and campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Foundation & Community on fundraising aspects for both Rugby League and Community/Foundation events and campaigns.
  • Lead and assist with events and campaigns in an efficient, friendly, and productive manner.
  • Collaborate with marketing and finance functions as required.

Community Presence on Game Days:

  • Lead Panthers Foundation & Community activities at game days.
  • Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Support the Head of Foundation & Community in developing new community initiatives.
  • Deliver community programs and experiences as required.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary education in sports/management/community; significant work experience can substitute for the degree.
  • At least 1-2 years' experience in large-scale events.
  • At least 1-2 years' experience with community programs.
  • Ability to accomplish projects with little supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service ethic.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational, and time management skills.
  • Good interpersonal and supervisory skills.
